One of the most beautiful and iconic 5 star hotels in Manila is one of the only business and resort destination hotels in Manila. Boasting a large resort style pool and large event function space and possibly the largest 5 star bufffet in the city. Sadly the hotel will close on 30 June 2024.

Great customer service, staffs are very accomodating and polite esp Harvey!!!!..location are convenient near the malls and a lot of things to do around...nice place for a family vacation while working as we are not wasting time to travel around.

Don’t stay here, it’s honestly not worth the money with all of the defects, broken services, under maintenance, out of order! It’s an over priced relic that is set to close soon and management are barely keeping the lights on. Not only is the property old and tired, they still allow smoking inside which is extremely inconsiderate while people are eating, even more so that there are many young travellers and young families. There are 6 lifts, most of the time 1 is in service, 2 are f you’re lucky! The escalators are out of order. The poolside is under maintenance. Our mouldy shower didn’t drain, it then leaked out around the toilet creating puddles, we couldn’t charge drinks to our room as their system was down. After queuing for the lift, being sardined in and finally making it to our room our keys had been deactivated, a 15 minute trip to the lobby as the lifts were not coming we finally got into the room, after a long day this was the last inconvenience we needed. When checking out heck your bills and room charges, one of our breakfasts was double charged! I feel sorry for the staff who’re all about to lose their jobs in the coming month, the fact that management are still trying for promote this as luxury is really a joke. So many are standing around looking busy but don’t seem to be serving anyone, be prepared to wait and wait and wait!

Great amazing stay with a few hiccups

Stayed at the Sofitel for a total of 8 days. During the whole stay, we felt very comfortable, well rested and looked after the whole time. Check in was good with no issues and came to find out that we were complementary upgraded to the club level. Upon entering our room we were very wowed by how spacious and nice the room was. Very thankful for the team to upgrade our stay. Housekeeping through out the whole stay did an amazing job keeping our rooms cleaned as well as ensuring if we needed any additional amenities. In fact the housekeeper named Erwin went above and beyond making sure the room was also always flawless after cleaning. The team every time we left the Sofitel and returned always greeted us as well as went the extra mile by assisting with bags , entering cars as well as anything else you could of thought of. Now for the only hiccup we had. The tv was the only let down. It was a brand new samsung tv that only allows android screen sharing, we called maintenance for assistance but they informed us that they couldnt do anything to fix the issue with connecting it to the wifi as the tv hasnt been updated to be connected and were unsure when it would be done. Although it was a bit of a let down, it didnt take anything away from the stay. Overall love the Sofitel in manila and will always choose this as my hotel of choice. But gotten word its closing down for renovations soon. Hopefully it comes back stronger than ever and can enjoy a new experience.

Good. But the quality Sofitel service declined from years ago experience. Check in takes too long considering there were only 3 of us in line. I'm an accor number but I did not receive any welcome drinks as part of of my tier. The staff though were very attentive and kind. My breakfast was taken away including my dining utensils this is despite me just getting my omelet with my daughter (so much food wasted) suggestion to provide dining card queues which guest can use to Indicate whether the guest is finish dining or not yet. In that case to avoid this bad experience.
