A large complex of hotel/ apartment complex. It is professional and very competent but lacks individuality. We arrived very early due to flight times and had to pay to gain access to our room,but we did get some rest after a long travel day. The breakfast had an excellent selection to suit everyone and was very good quality. The room was superb with view across to the beach. It's location adjacent to a busy and wide road does mean taking taxis in and out, but I think this is typical for Abu Dhabi. We at a buffet style iftar breaking the fast, this was a great experience to sample an aspect of a culture not familiar to us the quality was excellent but not good value. I think if I were staying here as part of a business trip I'd be delighted as this seems to be the market where the hotel is aimed.

Bathroom smells like cigarette, probably due to connection with bathrooms from other rooms. People smoke in the bar on the top floor. The windows in the bar are dirty. Thin walls in the bathroom, so everything you do inside is heard by the person you share the room. Small swimming pool.

The front office assign me a smoking room and I have my family with me. Duty manager offer direct swift upgrade. Really good experience as I encounter before with most of Accor chain hotel.

The problem was with 3-way charger, although the stuff kindly gave me one with 2-way. Not all members of stuff (pool in my case) knew that google pay is working with POS terminals, so I had to store money in lobby to be able to use drinks/food. Otherwise everything was excellent.

Service levels of this hotels and dropped well below standard . Not the same luxurious feeling of Sofitel . After having stayed many times before the covid period , this was my first visit back again and most probably would be my last.
