This hotel has always been my favourite staycation. I had a nighter on 1st May here. Despite some flaws, I still had an enjoyable stay. Check in was a breeze with a room upgrade to a junior suite. The suite was well appointed. Sadly, the dusty smell was quite intense. My stay came with lounge access and complimentary breakfast . The lounge served all day long beverages like coffee, tea, sodas, premium sparkling water and still water, cookies and nuts, fresh juice. A delectable afternoon tea and scrumptious evening cocktail spread were offered. The lounge, in my opinion, had been an oasis of serenity. Mr Ikbal was definitely a gem-studded staff who made my stay extremely pleasant. All staff from Reception, Concierge and Housekeeping were equally attentive, friendly and approachable. They wore GENUINE smiles at work!!! Breakfast at Kwee Zeen was indeed impressive. I personally liked the crispy fried and egg benedict. I also availed myself to the Surf and Turf buffet dinner. The huge spread was outstanding with all The staff taking good care of me and my delighting fellow diner. Both of us felt like royalty. A special mention to Hanafi, Ridzuan, Chef Shafiq and Ashnida who deserve a raise. Lastly, i redeemed my welcome drink at the pool bar. Aiman was great but Mr. Izzat was stupendous whom i regard him as another great asset to the hotel. I have no qualms in returning to this business hotel for any occasion.

- Room - musty smell in 2 different rooms - it was so strong that it was suffocating to stay in the room. I woke up having difficulties breathing. Although the front desk tried to change a room for me, both rooms 2009 and 1909 were equally bad in the smell. - there was no hot water in the shower on the 24th night and 25th morning (I stayed 3 nights) - something never expected in a Sofitel - Impossible to find my Accor membership number in the database - 30…23…55… and the 3rd number was shared with me by Chloe (3…25) - Chloe was great in doing her best to be empathetic towards my situation but I was already checking out that morning.
